TYPE – MICROBIOCIDE-NON-OXIDIZING – FOR REVERSE OSMOSIS MEMBRANE SYSTEMS,COOLING SYSTEMS AND SENSITIVE CLEANING IN PLACE (CIP) PROCESSES.
MBN-L20-RO is a multifunctional non-oxidizing biocide blend to inhibit the proliferation of micro-organisms inclusive of algae and fungi specifically in REVERSE OSMOSIS composite membranes. The active substances in MBN-L20-RO are approved for use in polyamide, poly ether sulphone and cellulose acetate based membrane systems. This biocide can also be utilized in other water reticulation circuits as required.

MBN-L20-RO should be slug dosed on a regular basis at 5-20mg/l into the system feed water based on volume for the best results. Holding Time Index and Half-Life details should be carefully considered for best results. If membranes are being wet stored, then 200mg/l based on membrane system volume should be pumped into the circuit storage water.
MBN-L20-RO can be stored for up to 24 months from the date of manufacture, in its original, sealed packaging, at room temperature in a dry area. Containers must be kept undercover and out of direct sunlight. This product can be safely stored in plastic type holding tanks designed to manage the specific gravity listed. MBN-L20-RO must be protected from freezing. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles should be worn when handling MBN-L20-RO.
